A Taste of the World

If you’re anything like me, then you’ll probably agree that one of the best things about traveling to new places is the opportunity to sample the local cuisine. Whether that means dining out at an upscale restaurant, shopping for local ingredients from a corner grocery store, or picking up a tasty treat from an outdoor food stall, I always try to make a point of tasting something I couldn’t find easily at home or readily make myself.

Mexico – Though our time and travels in Mexico were limited, we had the opportunity to visit several of Mexico’s beautiful cities and landscapes, sampling everything from grilled grasshoppers to banana-leaf tamales to traditional moles along the way.
